Do you know why tea fields are covered with black cover in summer ?

　The rich green tea contains a lot of amino acid, umami taste in tea leaves. But once tea leaves get the direct sunshine, amino acid becomes bitterness. So in order not to produce bitterness, tea leaves are covered with straw or man-maid black cloth.

I think it’s more like a patchwork quilt on the tea plantation. Enjoy the changing scenery of tea plantation throughout the year.
